This tool is the improved version of Shapefile to TILED SVG Map converter which SVG Map Consortium releases.
This tool generates the SVG Map contents by which tiling was performed from a shapefile. Two kinds of ways of tiling are offered. One is tiling at equal intervals. Another is a way which uses each feature as a tile. In practice, it is the function to store features which have common attribute value in one tile. Furthermore, these two tiling methods are also combinable.
This software is coded by Java. And this uses geotools. This is the open source software based on a LGPL (v2.1) license in accordance with an ancestral license.
